I have a pcchips m577 mobo, running fine, memory is a bit slow on a benchmark test, 128MB pc100, with AMDK6/2 300 (o/c 350), on sandra it's even slower than a 200mmx, VX board. FSB is 100Mhz, I wondered if the bios update might help this problem, rest of the system is fast enough though.

Thanks

AMD K6/2 processors don't do well on floating point calculations which is why they typically don't perform as fast as an intel chip. So - may not be your RAM. PC Magazine had a good write-up on it not long ago.
