I just recently bough a sony dvd writer DRU-810a, which is internal. and I placed it into an external case connected with laptop by usb. The problem is dvd wrtier can not be recognised by windows which say no driver installed!!!!! I don;t know why and there is no any driver with dvd in the box at all. Any one can help me!!!!!?????

Did you set the jumper on the back of the drive to Master?

The jump had been set to master already by producer when I got it
