i accidentally disabled my floppy drive and i can't remember how to get back to the place to enable it again. i am using win95 and my computer is a 94 model compaq.

In the BIOS there is an option to enable the floppy. Check it an enable, be sure to select the correct type of drive and letter.

Ok.. on the boot-up screen were it checks your mem, HD, etc. sometimes on the bottom or at the top it shows something like:

"Press <what ever key it says> to change CMOS settings"

Read the manual... I don't want to be anoying with this, but many of the answers to common problems can be found by just taking a minute or two to read the manual.

If it isn't there well then post the problem here. /forum/smile.gif
