Can someone please help me? My problem is this, how do I partition my HD set to the max 8.4 GB ( I don't want the full 27GB in one partition )I tried to install it using my WIN98 systemdisk and FDISKed it, then format it from my WIN98 ( I have a 6.4 GB with win98 installed )I enabled the UDMA but still it's slow and the INT13 on the device manager is not enable and can't be enabled.. /forum/frown.gif can someone please help me out?? Thanks

The first question is, does the BIOS see the hard drive correctly when it boots?

First your BIOS must support you HD. If it does configure it correctly on it either by wirtting it manually H/S/C or with the autoconfiguration option.

If your BIOS doesn't support drivers bigger than 8.4G then get an IDE controller card, update your BIOS or check if your drive has a jumper that truncates some cylinders to 8.4 or 2.1G, but you will loose all the other space (which is alot!)

Since you can enable UDMA in your BIOS then it must be no more than a BIOS HD configuration. Check it an fix it.
