Never ever mess with partition stuff when you can barely keep your eyes open. With that said, I blew a partition away. Want to recover it. No body had better mention Lost & Found...It SUCKS!!!

Please point me recovery software.

Thanks.

This is probably not exactly what you're looking for, but...

At one point, when I lost a partition, I was able to get it back by making a partition
at the exact same cylinder, head, and sector numbers as before (i.e., restoring my MBR to the way it was) using a freeware program called Partition Manager by a good guy named Ranish (you'll have to search for it).

While this is an excellent program and has saved my computer many times, to use it for the first time is not the easy way out. If you're not used to making and unmaking partitions, you MUST be wide awake when you read the directions for this one! and back up the original boot record, messed up as it is... and write down all your partition beginnings and ends, so that you don't muck up the drive further.

Also make sure that your drive is not too big... I remember that even the latest version of this program had certain size limitations.

If you download Partition Manager, read the directions, and still feel confused, I would wait till you get some other recommendations for data recovery on this site before trying this measure. Also, if you've already formatted your new partitions, I don't think this program will help.
