I am continually getting BSOD's after a fresh install of Win2k. The screens pop up pretty quickly but the machine restarts before I get a chance to read them. Any way I can halt the system on the crash before it reboots? I need to see this error before I can track it down. I'm fairly positive it's RAM, but not sure. I have the latest updates (service pack 4) for Windows 2000 Pro.

See if it will boot into safe mode then turn off reboot on err in the system properties/advanced/performance in device manager.
Are you running the latest BIOS for the system board? If not, then upgrade to the latest version.

I'm running latest bios that is NOT beta. There is a beta version but I'm hesitant to get it. Looks like I might have to try it after all this.
As for the memtest, I've tried the windows version and it gives me different results each time. Looks like I will have to try this other version.
