I wouldnt... yet. For a start the initial pricing will be outrageous - seconldy i'd wait a whiel and see what happens in terms of the Blu-Ray vs. HD-DVD issue and see how that plays out. No poitn spending top whack on a drive if only half of the industry is going to support the standard

I'm quite curious to see how it will all be priced, but particularly the availability and pricing of media - it seems to me that it was the lack and pricing of media that took the wind out of the sails for dual layer. The media is still absurdly expensive, whereas the DL drives are dirt cheap.
