I just thought I would post an issue with the Verizon FIOS Service.
There is a great program out there called Proxomitron (works with all web browsers), which is a web page filter. Using this limits the download speed of files and webpages to about 3.5 Mbps.
If you don't use Proxomitron (not just disable it or use its "bypass feature") the full download speeds are reached, which I am getting about 15 MBps.
The FIOS service is pretty nice, 15 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up, very nice for game hosting!
