I screwed up in installing a downloaded driver for my xentor video card so I reformat and installed back everything. My computer is now working alright except when I try to play an audio cd, I get this message "Window cannot find program.exe. This program is needed for opening files of type AudioCD." Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. rogermb

Try re-installing your sound card software.

Uninstall, then reinstall Cd Player in add/remove - Windows setup - multimedia.

Try this goto start/run then type sfc
Select extract one single file and then type in program.exe and ok it.

This happenned to me when I put in my mx300- reset the file association for all audio files back to whichever (is that a word?) audio player you were using.

There is no file program.exe. What this is telling you is that the application needed to run the program you want cant be found. Reinstall all multimedia devices in the Control Panel such as CD player, etc and you should be OK
