Finally....Norton's liscense has expired, and I'm shopping. However, When shopping, 'tis best to know what's recommended.
So, in a small networked environment what are the recommended choices for "Best Of" in corporate editions of AV and Internet Security (spyware/popup/etc.) applications?
2x Windows 2000 servers
25x XP Workstations
1x T1 connection to the world
No...no hardware firewall in the loop
There's no current restriction or tracking on what is being surfed, so a user may be working....surfing for pricing, etc. or on break....checking news, shopping, posting on SysOpt, etc.
Incoming and outgoing email is routed through Postini.
As far as needs:
Automatic updates to server and clients...90-100% need
Ease of Use....Would like set-and-forget....yeah, right.
Cost....We aren't a financial institution...but we also aren't a non-profit
Schedulable full system scans on both server and clients....75%-100% need.
Think that's it...Thanks for you input in advance!
