Has anyone here ever used AT&T Worldnet?

i personally dont use it, but one of my friends does - he doesnt really have any complaints - he says they are just like, another run-o-the-mill isp....

I've been with them for 8 months now, up until Aug 18, the service was excellent. Then they supposedly upgraded their site in Everett, WA (went from 2 access #'s to 1), since then it has been a constant string of disconnects. Complained to them, they sent me a log showing connects were normal, not what I was complaining about, it was their disconnects. Sometimes would only be on for 3 or 4 minutes, when it would start, once it starts, it will happen about every 5 to 10 mins for about 1 to 2 hours. Even as I am writing this, have been disconnected once, and I'm not that slow of a typist.

i did, but i canceled it, because, the connection was in some days very very slow, almost to the point of stop. i am with mindspring now.

I have but I changed from them due to the prices and connection. I have recently changed to Earthlink, which just merged with Mindspring. Its a good company if you don't want net lag ever. They have lots of access numbers. If you wana join Earthlink tell them my username freiberg and I get a month free. /forum/smile.gif
