Can't seem to get this working.

HP Photosmart on W2K and trying to share with a 98SE. W2K tells me to add additional drivers for win98 when I check the box.
1st insert W2K CD click OK, then I get file "inf" on W2K is needed. Copy files from: ?

I have tried W2K CD, HP driver CD, and a Win98 CD. Each time I get an unable to install drivers.

What am I doing wrong?

From the W98 pc , use the Printer Setup Wizard and install the printer as a network printer .

OK tried that, just printing blank pages.
Doing this I get to the need drivers, insert disk and it then tells me it cannot find files. even when I chose "have disk".
It does show the correct path and printer name when I try to print.

Can you browse to that printer in Network Neighborhood from Win 98 and double click on it?

install the printer on win98 like a local printer, then change the port setting to a network connection.
