this printer i have is not picking up paper. I can't figure out why. I got some new part from hp (c2124-40111) that is a lever that was apparently broken but i can't figure out where to put it... i don't really want to call hp support b/c it's like $20. I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere i could get a layout of the printer, ie. diagrams showing the parts and where they go. thanks.

Can't really offer much help. Is that broken lever related to the banner paper feature?
Perhaps you could find an something here, there is also an HP forum http://www.hp.com/cposupport/prodhome/dj560c.html
Best low dollar bet is to check a few used computer shops in your area for an old one - buy it for spare parts. My 560C has trouble with the paper feed as well - I typically push one sheet at a time by hand, but then I rarely print. There's a reason they stopped the 500 series.....

i have solved similiar problems with the
560c..
first, and i think that the vendor will
tell you this is to try other paper..
second, the rubber wheels that pull the
paper into the printer from the tray in time
tend to harden and not be as soft..
the fix for this is to rejuvinate? the wheels
buy cleaning and coating lightly with hand
lotion..
thirdly..the spring located under the paper
tray also in time tends to loose it size..
remove paper and lift out tray that lifts
paper..expand spring a little and replace
all...
like i said this has worked for moi

Thanks for your replies! I figured out the problem. For anyone who wants to know how, I found out that HP has a free cleaning kit that you can order for the rollers. It cleans and roughs the rubber on them. You can get it by calling 1-800-656-2324. I just recieved mine today, and it worked like a charm. And the best part was, it was free!
