I bought a foxconn 760bxk8 mATX, amd64 3400, aspire qpack case, 1 gig stick of geil pc3200 ram, kingwin k8cu-8025 heatsink. System powers up, but no post, no video. Keyboard lights flash, cpu fan and case fan working, I can hear hdd activity, but nothing else. I've taken everything out and re-seated, the board is outside the case right now w/ just ram, keyboard in, it has onboard video. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Is it possible that you "stabbed" the motherboard with a screwdriver when you were setting up? If you did, you may have scratched a trace.
Remove the board from the case, place it on a soft, non-conductive surface near the case and plug in the ATX power. Leave in the CPU and RAM. Connect the monitor. Connect the power. Nothing else needs to be connected. Use your screwdriver to short the POWER BUTTON pins. See if it POSTs.

The chip was bad. I had it checked w/ a known good board and it wouldn't post, I got a 3200 and it booted. Thank's for trying to help.
