bought an epox board tried to install raid drivers with w2k

raid bios acted wacky thought it was mobo :r

bought a better board
same thing
finally monarch tech said its an o/s thing
then i tried xp
bios acted normal drivers went in setup formatted

need to start over with slipstreamed sp4

however if you have an nf4 based board and are having raid install and setup difficulty using win2k
is it the o/s! :t

Your observation is flawed - BIOS doesn't know what OS is installed or going to be installed.

What problems exactly were you facing?

the setup for raid bios
did not work right
did not make array
would not esc the bios

when i used xp all went right
could the raid dlls be for xp only :x
