hi i have sis 740 chipset . i downloaded the latest agp from the sis site and installed and then system crashed.now i uninstalled it from safe mode and no improvement.then i uninstalled all display devices cleaned driver files using driver cleaner pro and tried to install my original driver. and i get the error "updatedriverforplugandplaydevices:error "
can anyone suggest anything?

Did you install the AGP driver before or after the video driver?

What version of Windows is this?

i had my video driver already installed.but it was an older version.

The AGP driver is different than the video driver and must always be installed first.

Is this Windows XP? 2000? Me? 98?
