Mutli read?? question here ?

Hi,
I just got a new system Creative 48x IDE cdrom on my system. The brand new CDRom is miluti read, which it did read the rewritable that i had at the time. For some security reason, i need to reformat my hard drive, re-install Win98. Every thing went fine, Win 98 detect everthing in my computer.
But now, my new cdrom do not read rewritable. ??? It did before...what and where should check to verify and fix this problem. Thanks

check to see that the drivers are correct for your CD-ROM drive.... I had a similar situation a while ago when I had to reinstall windows 95... before I did, there was one Audio CD that none of the CD players I tried like.... after I reinstalled Win95, it worked fine..

so just to make myself clear, check that the drivers are the most recent drivers for your drive

Hi, thanks for your reply.
After reading you reply, I recheck the Creative cd, and guess what? There no driver for Win98. Also on their website and there are no drivers for Win98 version. If anyone of you do have such driver, either email to me or direct me where I can downloaded. So far i was not able find any drivers for Win98 on their Website. Unless I over look.
So if anyone can post or email me it would be appreciated.
