Well, I have naother question for the braintrust here.
I have a copy of the original Office 97 Professional. What I would like to do is perhaps put a copy of it on my drive, and install all the service packs there, so that if I ever reload my machine, I can simply install from my second drive, and have sr2 off the bat.
I have heard that there is a way to do this, I was wondering if anyone here had ever attempted this, and if so is it complex?, any help in doing this would be appreciated.

Once again, the help here has been wonderful......

As for having sr2 off the bat, I don't know. Never tried.

But you should be able to copy the cd to a directory on your drive, as well as the service packs. If you don't have the service packs, you should be able to download them from MS.

Hope this helps!
