IRQ Conflict

I have a IRQ conflict--The PS2 mouse port and IDE 2 are using IRQ 12. When using change properties in device manager it only gives me 2 options 11 or 12 and 12 is my video. It will not let me change the IRQ for the mouse port which reports no conflicts. A bad prob because IDE 2 will not work with anything but a hard drive.
Win 95 osr 2 fresh install on a clean hard drive.

If the above post can't be done (it would be my first try though), try to disable any ports not in use (com1,com2,lpt1) and move something there. Otherwise, upgrade to Win98 and get a USB mouse (drastic and obviously costly) Good luck.

Well I have found the problem but dont know how to correct it. The problem is with the bussmaster drivers. Here is the config
. Primary IDE controller single fifo
Standard Dual PCI IDE controller
standard IDE Hard disk controller.
Need this configuration--->
PRI Bussmaster Dual Fifo
Via Bussmaster PCI IDE controller
Sec Bussmaster Dual Fifo.
I do not think that just because I have this prob that I have to either reinstall the os or worse go to win 98. I have 98 and do not like it all, had more crashes with that than any other OS I have had. There has to be a fix for this.
