what's the differences between the 2? :|Acronis works without the extra baggage that Symantec insist on installing. They're getting to be like AOL. :r

I've noticed Acronis uses a similar LINUX based bootcd ;\ maybe Acronis is closer to the free world than the others :X :P

Depends what you plan to do with it and the o/s that you run.

Ghost is invaluable for me for its ghosting uses, not as a backup tool necessarily. I refurb a lot of computers, sometimes a dozen of the same model, and 1 install and ghost 11 others from it is a real time saver.

I have Acronis as well and I like it more for system backups, it doesnt seem to clone as well or as quick as Ghost.

The version of Ghost I use primarily is the 2002 version, I believe, so it is not the best with XP but for what I do it works wonderful with the older o/s's.
