I plan to build a new system using 939 socket type

what i want is a great gaming pc
good oc'ing
want to ugrade to pci-express for video card

epox, asus and msi have cought my eye for mobo's, and since i currently use epox 8rda+ i have had no complaints

here's my questions:

1: which 939 board, since i have been reading alot of horror stories from all three that i have suggested, or have they since been bio's upgrade fixes

2: which chipset, nforce4 or k8t800, not to sure exactly what the diff's are

3: which cpu (best bang and oc'ing for my bucks)

I've heard to stay away from sli because of the cost, or has it change in any signifigant way

Thanks for any help

What do you people think of this board,

ASUS A8N-SLI Premium Socket 939

I really like the features on this board, but have seen some heat issues from the chipset that people are talking about, and compatable mem issues. Has there been a fix for these issues?

If your looking to overclock i would go with one of the DFI boards the a bit dearer but reach big fsb's..[Even if ya dont wont to do sli this board is probly one of the best 939 overclocker so ya could just use one card in it]

The best bang for the buck is the Chaintech VNF4 Ultra. Read SysOpt's review and that becomes obvious.
