Hi all

I've a new installation of Windows XP SP2. I dont want to use Simple File Sharing as I wasnt to apply my own permissions.

The problems occur after I reboot. Before I do, I switch off Simple File Sharing in the folder options and click Apply and Ok. This works. When I reboot, the Simple File Sharing has been re-activated...

Has anyone else had this problem?

You cannot turn off simple file sharing in Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

Is there a registry key? Does MS Antispyware play a part? Its getting quite frustrating! :(
