hi,i am trying to get my 1st pc build to boot but the bios cant detect the cd rom and hard drive!!!.also i have tried to set the boot order ie cdrom then the hard drive but so far no luck.also i am getting a message saying boot disk failure please insert disc into floppy drive i have no disc.
regarding the cdrom i have two problems the first cdrom drive i fitted throws up a message not apti compatable/the second lights up but the loading draw wont open and still the bios wont see the drive.i have no dought i have made a complete cock up here.so is anyone brave enough to try and help me sort this out please.
i use a pc for work (taxi driver)and also for surfing the web etc.i have also put a second user pc in both my daughters rooms and networked them via a router and cable and got them working but this bios thing has got me beat for now.regards mark
