Is it possible in any way to convert an AT ff cabinet so that it's able to use ATX mb's.

yes you need to switch power supply and switch. At power supply sends power to switch thruogh cables from supply to switch when switched on power is sent to m/b.ATXpower supply keeps a small amount of power to m/b at all times 3v the switch is wired to the m/b not the power supply and power is turned on at the m/b. since a small amount of power is always on you can turn on by keyboard and use landesk wake on alarm. you can keep your switch if you can wire it to the m/b on/off connecter two little wire plugins

Yes, but it isn't pretty. It takes a different power supply, the on/off switch must be a momentary contact push button, and the back plane has to be cut open to accomodate the connector panel on the ATX board. A new case will probably cost little more than the power supply.

you also need to have a case that has screw holes in the right places to attach the mb itself.

did this once, and didn't think it was worth the effort.

you can convert the at powerswitch to an atx style, but you have to take it apart and attach new wiring.

if you're cheap like me, you can also cut a backplane out of posterboard too.
