I have recently built a computer with an asus p4p800-e deluxe mobo and whenever i boot up i get a message saying "checking ide drives......
"no drive attached to fasttrack controller...bios not installed. This always comes up but has no effect after...the comp boots up fine and works great. Anyone know how to get rid of this message? If looked through the bios and havent found a thing to fix it....

disable your raid controller in the bios.

I have the P4P800 Deluxe and it has the Promise raid controller. In the BIOS under ADVANCED there is an option for "Onboard Promise Controller". When I set that to "DISABLE" the message goes away.

If that isn't there, check the motherboard for a jumper to disable it.
