I would like to find a source of BIOS upgrades for older IBM PCs. For now I would like a copy of a BIOS upgrade for a PC 365 model 6589. One of the latest is lujt31a.exe, but an earlier version might be ok. Someone who has upgraded their machine would likely still have a copy on their hard drive. I am also looking for the latest BIOS upgrades for IBM types: 6563, 6565 and 6287. These are executable files which create a bootable diskette. IBM discontinued support and Lenova did not pick it up. I have tried many sites that show these files, but the connection to the original site no longer is active.

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I'm still looking for the BIOS for a PC 365 type 6589 and a PC 300GL type 6287. What I would really like to see is a site like Peter Wendt's "Microchannel Enthusiast's" site for files that IBM no longer has on their site so that I can try some upgrades on my "older" computer collection. I wonder if someone has some of the "Software Selections CD-ROMs for these machines also.

As for the IBM PC 365 model 6589 BIOS, try these links:
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/commercial_desktop/lujt43a.exe
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/commercial_desktop/lujt43a.txt

These files are no longer supported by IBM but i guess they forgot to remove
the files from the ftp server :)

I found these links by trial-and-error (ftp 'dir' is disabled) so the other files
might be in there as well.

Thanks for the url to the BIOS site. I haven't found how to access the site except through the url you supplied. When I try to enter the url myself I get a measage that the site is unavailable. I'm still gathering all of the BIOS that I can find in case I acquire other machines.
