I am having an annoying thing happen. Whenever I leave my computer on for a long time and try to access a web page after a while of inactivity (with no hibernation in between) it says "Page not found." I tried disconnecting and reconnecting, emptying the temporary files, everything. But nothing works except restarting the whole computer.
The whole time it tells me I am connected to my network; it just won't connect me to the internet.

Any thoughts? Is there a setting u think I should change or something?

Are you connected to modem thru your network card. If you are then there is a function on the network card properties that will make it go into "sleep" mode or sumthing like that if not used for a certain amount of time. Change time or disable this function (like windows hibernation mode)

Hola's got a good point. However...what kind of Internet Connection do you have? DSL, Cable, etc.
Also...are you using a router?

I setup a router for a DSL customer and ACCIDENTALLY...checke use PPoE connection only when needed.

Let's just say I lost a few hairs before I unchecked that box and had everything work ok.
