2 posts from me in one day! Anyway, I have a motherboard that has a PCI soundchip on it. I disabled it to install my SB AWE64(ISA) Anyway, my question is. Since I already have the connectors for the onboard chip, is it possible to run BOTH sound devices? Are there advantages/disadvantages? I was thinking that I could get the 2nd gameport on the onboard chip to have a 2nd joystick connector as well...?

Yes. It is possible.

There's mixing software that actually can use both cards for 4-channel recording. Two channels for each card.

I'm not certrain about the gameport. I think it would be a "go" as long as you have the resources. With enough IRQs or Win98s ability reroute them, you may only need to free up one. Possibly two. Disable in the hardware profile, any DOS (16bit emulation) devices that use up IRQs. No one really uses these now...
