Have a Hitachi GD-2000 DVD, when I insert a disk nothing will autorun. I have to manually go into start-run dialog box to run anything. I have tried Tweak UI to no avail.
I've also checked the registry entries and they seem to be fine, DVD drive checks out fine in diagnostics. I'm using Windows 95, Pentium II, 300 Mhz, 128 mb RAM, this has been driving me crazy. Help!

go to device mgr and select the cdrom heading,then select your dvd drive and click properties,under properties there should be a settings tab,in there you should see a box that says auto insert notification.Make sure it is checked.
