Hello everyone:

I have a SBLive Value, and it has a "SB16 Emulation" that uses up an IRQ. I don't use this function, and I need the IRQ for a couple of NIC's I'll be installing soon.

I have already disabled the device in Device Manager, but I would like to get rid of it altogether, because it still sits in the device manager with a big red X on it. Can anyone advise me on how to do this?

Thanks in advance for your help...

If you remove it it will be found each time you boot your system. I would leave it as is. I had to do the same in the past. I recently got a USB mouse tofree up an IRQ. It is not going to hamper system function or performance by being there. There will just be that annoying red x. /forum/smile.gif Dave
