i am about purchase a western digital 9.1 scsi u2w hard drive to give asus p2bs motherboard but got a bit confused with the choice available so can any body advice on the difference between the lvd av 3.5Lp 7200rpm 6.9ms 4mb / the lvd av sca 3.91 4mb
and the se 3.5Lp 2mb 6.9/sca lvd 3.51Lp 2mb

and for high end desktop use would be the best hard drive

Dont get the "sca" model (these have a 80 pin interface which includes the power connections...they are designed to be used in systems that have "hot swap" sleds. (high performace servers).

What you want is the 7200rpm 6.9ms 4mb drive. (68 pin interface)

Enjoy the drive.
