Here's a new one for you. I was using FLY on my old P333-Asus P2L97 with the same hard drive and a Viper 770, and disk access was ok.I was using Win95. Now, with win98, a P3b-f, a p3-450 overclocked to 600 with a bus speed of 133, the flight sim pauses terribly. I've upgraded the bios. Any ideas?

Turn off DMA. Set your HDD to P10 Mode 4 in the BIOS.

The bus speed may be too high and causing eratta with some or several components; try it without overclocking and see if the problem goes away.
