originally hitachi ata7
however after reading more reviews

the maxtor plus10 16mb 200gb :x looks great

faster in some things than raptor

looks wicked in raid 0 :eek:

The dm10s are the next best thing to raptors.

make sure you have some kind of backup, like a third IDE drive. RAID0 arrays can break and you'll lose all your data on BOTH drive.

how does a 1024 fixed swapfile sound with 1gb ram raid0in win2k

you'll just have to try it out and see what works best. you definitely don't want to disable the pagefile since photoshop requires one no matter how much physical ram you have.
