I have recently purchased Abit BE6 motherboard and Ultra DMA66 7200RPM HD. But, I'm having trouble getting the SCSI to work. (I had the BH6 running without any problems, but that is without UDMA66 HD) I'm running Windows 98 and I was able to get all my peripherals to work(Ultra DMA33 HD, DVD-Rom, Soundcard, Ethernetcard, Videocard, Modem). After I put in the SCSI card, I see my SCSI card detected the SCSI devices(so, I believe I have the correct termination on my Internal SCSI HD and Internal SCSI CD-RW)But, it freeze at the Boot screen after the screen says some type of update complete. I'm booting off my UDMA66 HD. I've played around with the Bios setting in both CMOS and in Adaptec card. But, I was still unable to get it to work. Please let me know if you know how to get the SCSI to work with BE6 motherboard with UDMA HD Boot drive and let me know what settings you've changed to get these working. Thanks.
p.s. Does the Term. Power from drive, to SCSI bus, from SCSI bus on the HD have any affect? What does it do?
