I know this might sound like an "off-the-wall" question but I am wondering if I could mix PC-66 with PC-100 memory on the QDI Legend V MB(has the 440LX chipset). I have already tried it and it seems that when I boot into Win 98 everything seems fine but when I boot into WinNT 4.0 it will run for awhile and then blue screen....The setup is 2 PC-66 64 meg chips and the new PC-100 which is a 64 meg chip.....any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks
Jake

im pretty sure that it is alright to mix the 66 and 100 ram as long as they use the same voltage - however, the 100 ram will only run at 66 along with your other 66 ram.

Make sure that the fsb is set to 66mhz, not 100.

I run the following:
1 - 128meg PC100 Stick
2 - 32meg PC66 Sticks
System is PII-266, LX motherboard.
Dual Boot Windows98 and NT with absolutely no problems.
Bottom Line, it will work.
Question about NT, does your problem go away if you remove the PC100 ram?
