I recently bought a pair of SATA Seagate drives, with NCQ, so my question is, how do I know if NCQ is enabled, supposedly my mobo supports NCQ http://www.seagate.com/products/interface/sata/compatibility.html

if your drives support NCQ there will be an option (enable command queuing) in the device manager under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"

you may need to run the seagate software to enable ncq.
I doubt you'll see a real world difference, so I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it.

it would be in the same place in device manager, just a different controller name.
see if you can enable ncq through the seagate software.
again, i don't think it will make that much improvement. ncq and tcq are more for servers with multiple calls for data on the same drive.

How do I enable NCQ?
Native Command Queuing is enabled at the firmware level of the hard drive and cannot be altered by the end user, which means you have support as long as all the other requirements are met. If all requirements are not met, NCQ will not be utilized.
I just checked your link from your first post, but i don't see where it says you have NCQ capability on the board. It just says SATA compatibility.
The 875 chipset does NOT support NCQ. there's your answer.
