Hi guys,

http://www.thegreenlightgroup.com/frieber/space.html

does anybody see a space to the right of "G_BOOK"?

and if so, why is it there?

the reason i ask is because the same space shows up in the buttons here:

http://www.thegreenlightgroup.com/frieber/

and i cannot have that. haahahahah thanks a lot!

Viewing it with Firefox, there's a (smaller) gap on the left too! Try adding a border definition to your two image tags:

<img src="left_rounded.gif" border="0">

and

<img src="right_rounded.gif" border="0">

Hmmm.

Thanks for helping!

I thought that might have been the problem, but i tried it yesterday and it didnt work. So i just deleted the "border="0"" that i had put in each image tag.

How weird is that?

I've noticed that i've also been seeing it when i put an image in the middle too, so its not an error with Flash.

I hope we can get to the bottom of this.

hahaha thanks,

I could well be barking up the wrong tree (again ;)), but you're setting the table width to 205 - the flash button is set to 185, and each gif is 8 pixels wide: 185 + 16 = 201. I haven't used tables for layout for a long time now, so I'm not sure whether the 4 "missing" pixels would create the problem you're seeing. Can't test it myself right now :)

fishybawb, that's right! 201 it is. I've tried it just to see.
I've added border=0 to the table and put it all within the same cell <TD></TD> and aligned (middle) the 2 images:
