Hi

I'm woundering If anyone has had this problem and knows how to fix it.

I have made a compressed drive using some of the free space from my C drive using the DriveSpace tools on windows 95.

However every time I reboot the computer the Compress drive disappears and you have to remount it in DriveSpace tools when you restart.

Also when you go into the compressed drive using windows explorer windows seem to crash(blue screen of death) but other times it lets you in no problems.

Thanks in advance

Have you use a program such as WinBoost? Drivespace is disabled by some people to save memory and speed up boot time. You can check with WinBoost to see if DriveSpace starts with your computer...

Radio,

Try this.

Go into Drive Space, Click Advanced, then settings, and check if 'Automatically mount new compressed drive' is ticked off. If not, select it, then reboot and see if that works.
