ULEAD VideoStudio, changing the frame rate has no effect

I'm using MovieStudio to do VHS to DVD. When I get to the last part to start I have a choise in the lower left corner to set the frame rate.

I think it's 8000fps for 1 hour of video
6000 for 90 minutes
4000 for 2 hours. When I try to put 90 minutes on 4000, it goes threw the procress and at the end it says the files to big, it can't fit on a disc.

It seems like the choise has no effect. has anyone used UMS? How does you choises work? Thank you, Chris.

Ur 1st problem was how u captured the VHS to disc, u should have captured at DVD quility an set ur capture file size to 1 gig intervals @ 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 hrs, give or take a little, DVD5 standard, this way u wont need to convert an the DVD burning already has the right file sizes.
