If you set your virtual memory yourself is it true you get better performance. I have 160mb of pc100 RAM and I use Rambooster and Cacheman, and was wondering if I set my virtual memory to something like 150max/min that my performace might increase anyone that can help please let me know what you think.

It should reduce disk thrashing and fragmentation. With 160 mb of ram you probably don't need more than 100 mb virtual memory unless you are running very memory intensive operations.

My question is that will it increase performance and will my system stay quick and not sluggish after a couple of hours running. If anyone can help please give me your 2 cents worth.

With that much RAM you can turn VM off.
