It's not too difficult here either. The Boston crowd, the New Yorkers, the Jersey folks, the Minnesota/Wisconsin/Michigan-ites, flows down into the midwest (Ohio, etc.) where they kinda sound like the Wisconsin-ers but less drastic. Then you hit Texas, which reallu iss quite different than, say, Mississippi/Alabama. In FL, it's all Yiddish :D Arizona sounds a lot like Minnesota/Wisconsin/Michigan for a good part of the year due to snowbirds coming down for the winters. Then you hit California and all rules go out the window. 1st is a latin accent, then you have the asian accents with mispronounced "L"s becoming "R"s, then the Indian accents with the mispronounced "V"s becoming "W"s, and your typical valley girl/guy with the "Oh my gawd!"s and "Like"s and "No Way!!"s. A good part of the West though (lots of CA, Oregon, Washington, AZ, Nevada) just don't have much of an accent at all. Kinda accentless, with annunciated words and all. Odd.

Lancashire folk siz, 'ee yup lad, thurs trubel at mill', and for close the door, they say, 'poot wud inth'ole', if it's cold they would say, 'by, eets reet parkie,'

The equivalent of Appalachian Mountain folk.
You know, like in Deliverance.
So if in the north of England, especially on the moors, or ridings as they are called, between Lancashire and Yorkshire, DONT, mention PIGS. or you could end up as a bacon buttie, and you wouldn't want to know what they do with the black pudding.
