this is an Asus based sytem...A7v8x-x with a 2400 AMD cpu and 512 MB of DDR PC2700...a WD 80G and WD 20G both 7200 RPM with XP Home as an OS...
program application problem is with the following...
we have Symantec Norton 2004 Internet Security but 2003 System works...everything worked fine for a long time until WinDoctor on SystemWorks failed tonight and stalled during system check....when it hits "finding solutions" it goes brain dead...we have re-installed after a full uninstall...gone to safe mode and normal...reset to last known configuration...one button system check fails also at Windows Registry Scan and won't proceed...in other words...2004 IS and 2003 SysWorks were working fine...for almost a year now and all the sudden windoc or one button checkup fails and stalls..also note..female on keyboard of unit...*smiles again*
this is probably a stupid simple but I sure can't figure out how to clear it..in order for it to work...all help appreciated in advance
I know I can go to Symantec and post the problem but it takes forever to get a reply...I was hoping someone here had run into it and knows a quick fix...Bipolar??? Bovon???? where you guys at...*smiles*
