I just downloaded and am using the cacheman program and I set it for poweruser and I am wondering how you know if it is working. Has anyone used this product and could tell me if it is good or bad, and how they could tell. I have an AMD k6-2 400mhz processor and 160mb of RAM using Win98. Hopefully that is enough info for you. I can see the thought behind this program just don't know how to tell if it is helping.

You could try WinMag's "WinTune" before and after. It checks both cached and uncached HD write read times.http://www.winmag.com/

I did the WinTune and the numbers are very similar, but I was wanting to know of people that have used it and what they noticed in change to their system. Anyone who has used the program please let me know what you noticed as a change good, or bad.
