I,M trying to set up this PCTEL(33.6) modem but i don't have the manual or drivers, i managed to find some generic manufacturer drivers and set about it-installed the comm port first from the driver package,rebooted went to add new modem -directed to the driver folder installed them ok -everthing is installed fine the modem is recognised happily in device manager but it appears these pctels don't recognise AT commands from windows so how do you go about activating them and using it to dial -it's got me stumped -any help would be much appreciated
