Even getting an Intel MMX chip on the 8500TUC can be a problem. There is a flaw in the multiplier selection pins and most TUCs have no way to get a Pentium MMX chip to run higher that 166Mhz because of it. I still have one of these boards running NT with a boatload of RAM. The one and only nice thing about them is that HX chipset can cache a lot more RAM than FX, VX, or even TX chipset boards. If I were you, I would pick up something newer and use the old TUC to learn more about Linux or something. beller6 09-24-1999, 08:05 PM 800XL is absolutly right. Your asking for trouble, and overclocking the Biostar isn't the answer. I used to use that motherboard 3 computers ago. FIXINMANN 09-25-1999, 08:13 AM Thanks for the info, I am new at getting inside the box. SysOpt.com
