RegClean freezes

I've downloaded RegClean 4.1a and am trying to run it. It gets as far as "Scanning Type Library Identifiers for errors..." and gets about 1/8th of the way into the process line... and then it stops. Freezes. I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL and kill the process to get it to go away.

Microsoft's site was the first place I looked. As expected, no help. It seems I've seen this problem reported somewhere but I can't seem to find it. I've searched a few of the Web search engines, no luck. BTW, I'm running Win95.
