Lately my system has been shutting down and restarting just out of the blue.
So I formatted and did a clean install of Win 98 that didn't help it still
has a mind of it's own and restarts all the time right when I'm in the
middle of something. It's not program specific either, It will just restart
regardless.I think it's a hardware problem but I don't know where to start........... HELP!!!!

System:
333mhz celeron processor
192 megs ram
voodoo3 2000
ethernet card
24x cd-rom
ricoh cd/rw
56k modem

Thanx.

I would look at three things for starters
the power supply (outlet) to the computer
the computer power supply
faulty motherboard
my 2c

Loonie-Smokin 1 might be right as far as a PS problem, also, your CPU might be overheating.Plus, how do have 192MB of Ram?That's a weird number.....What kind of cooling /fan setup do you have?

run the system with the cover off a couple of days. have you cleaned your p/s & heatsink fan. he gets the 192 mem. like I do 3x64 sticks=192
