I downloaded the free version of PConPoint and let it scan, it found 251 problems on my machine!! I clicked the 'fix problems' icon but it wont fix anything unless you buy the key, that sux, anyone know where i can download a shareware version of it or freeware or wharever its called? Or, if not, anyone know of a free program that does the same thing and works just as good?
thanks!

No one program can do it all with any sort of reliability - not even Norton Systemworks. I've never even heard of PConPoint until now. How good could it be? They are probably just trying to scare you into buying. It's common practice in a world where no one takes the time to read the instructions and everyone thinks that computers are too difficult to learn about.
All we recommend here is to scan for spyware and viruses:

Counterspy is good for 15 days. If you have MS Antispyware now, uninstall it first! If you like CS, buy it. It's cheap. AntiVir is free.

You can try Easycleaner 2.0 and/or jv Powertools. Both are freeware/shareware (with very modest fees and work well. I'd still suggest you work carefully using any registry cleaner and a backup or creating a restore point is always a good idea.
Understand that the symptoms that PC on Point says it fixes can also be caused by spyware, trojans, viruses, BHO's, rogue dialers, etc. A thorough check for these and cleaning would be a good idea before you use a registry cleaner.
