I was thinking of getting a bag of cement & sprinkling(shoveling) that on ...... finking the lime would do it ........ what yous fink ?:t

Just use Roundup by Monsanto.
I give my entire place a spray every 3 months and nothing grows.
When I finally get time and money enough to properly landscape my place I'll stop the roundup treatment.
My backyard looks like the sahara desert :)

You could also just ley weed-mat over the bit you don't want to grow. As soon as you want grass/weeds back again, just take up the mat.

2 OZ 52% Roundup and 2 Oz Crossbow mixed in 1 gallon of water....then spray it on= bare ground.

2-4-d will kill weeds and leave the grass.

Whats Crossbow?

I add a liberal squirt of dishwashing liquid with my roundup as a wetting agent so it will penetrate into the ground a bit more and stick to the leaves.

Crossbow is a broad leaf killer...
Hate to burst your bubble, but Round will not kill in the ground. It only kills by coming in contact with the leaves on the plants. And yes Ivory Dish washing Detergent does make a good sticker.

Actually, urine will make them grow,, it's 99% water and has trace minerals that encourage plant growth.

To kill em permanently ( for a long time anyhow ) gasoline or diesel will do it, just don't smoke near em for a few days,,:D and don't let the EPA catch ya at it either:eek:

Use what the farmers and feds do: paraquat (sold as gramoxone, the worlds highest production agrichemical). Kills all WEED.

Some weeds are highly salt tolerant btw, could use a teaspoon kerosene...although NOT the enviro-friendly approach.

Don't kill your weeds, fertilize them instead. When they get big enough you will have more shade and privacy. If you don't like shade and privacy move to Zybch's back yard. :cool:

Is a "Restricted Use" herbicide, requires an applicators license.
But you will notice plants dying in two hours in the sun after being applied.

Weed B Gone works real good for me. What I do is screw off the spray top and just dump it right on the weeds. Takes a day for it to kick in. Will not wash away if it rains either.

Well I've dumped the path clear on em ......... After a jolly good strimming (Weed eater) .... Then dumped 6 moosin big bags of bark chippings on the top of that ......... According to our gardening bible it should of had 10 bags :rolleyes: ...... But @ £10 for 3 I think £20 is plenty ............. I don't even own the land :rolleyes: ......... It just looked nasty out the front of my place ............. Freakin Local council is useless round here :mad:
