Okay, im getting this error, its with my sound card i think,.. well see when i reload sometimes i have two irq steerings in the system, well sometimes my vortex2 card drivers will just disappear, with no sound at all. Well when i delete the irq steering with the same irq as my sound card and reboot i have the drivers again and the irq steering is back on my puter. I can change irq for either one. And i have emailed aureal about the problem without any help.. Please help me out. thanks

I'm just going to take a stab at this.Are you changing anything else, possibily where the system gets the call list. In Win 9x it is located in: My Computer> Properties> Device Manager> System Devices in the properties for the PCI bus, and also in the properties for Plug and Play BIOS. Changes made in the BIOS also affect these values so it all just becomes a big tangled ball of yarn. After you have changed a few things in each location. I hope this is at least in some way relevant to your issues.
